Files are transferred through WebRTC and are not uploaded to or stored by this application.

Short-lived signaling data—room authentication hashes and WebRTC connection descriptions—is stored for up to five minutes, then expires automatically.

The application does not use analytics cookies. Anonymous operational notifications may record that a public page was opened, a share session was created, or a checksum-verified transfer completed. These notifications do not include IP addresses, filenames, room codes, access keys, browser details, or referrers.

When TURN relay service is required, encrypted file traffic passes through the configured TURN provider. The provider may process connection metadata necessary to operate the relay.
